How to activate Windows 11

1. Open Settings

  • Press Win + I on your keyboard to open the Settings app.
  • Navigate to System > Activation.

2. Check Activation Status

  • In the "Activation" section, you'll see your current activation status.
  • If not activated, proceed to enter your product key.

3. Enter Your Product Key

  • Click the Change product key.
  • Enter the 25-character product key in the pop-up window.
    Example: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
  • Click Next to proceed.

4. Confirm Activation

  • Windows will validate the key online.
  • If successful, you'll see a confirmation message indicating that Windows is activated.


5. Verify in Settings

  • Return to the Activation section in Settings.
  • Ensure the status now reads Windows is activated.
